ESD Anti-Static Barrier Post DUAL Fixed Base
Screw-down barrier posts: removable and stable
Screw-down barrier posts combine the stability of ground fixing with the possibility of dismantling. The base consists of a drilled plate (typically 4 holes) that is bolted to the floor using anchors or screws. The post can be removed in minutes to clear the space or reorganize the layout.
Advantages over other fixing methods
- More stable than a portable post under high belt tension.
- Faster to modify than a permanent post (no concrete to break).
- Compatible with non-ferrous floors (tile, parquet, stone), unlike magnetic posts.
When to use it
- Semi-permanent configurations: waiting areas in establishments that modify their layout seasonally.
- Hard floors without crack risk: industrial tiling, polished concrete, technical slabs.
- Test installations: you want to validate a configuration before possible permanent embedding.
Hardware selection
For standard concrete floors, M8 metal anchors 60mm length are suitable. On hollow technical slabs, opt for expansion anchors or chemical fasteners. Always verify that no piping runs beneath the drilling area.
